If your company does not offer its services/products online, then you're definitely living in the Stone Age. Businesses today realize that in order to stay competitive, they have to communicate with today's audience who do business primarily online
Running an online business means that you have a global audience. And having a global audience means that your store is up and running twenty four hours every day and seven days of the week. While your customers from New York might be sleeping, those from Tokyo would surely be awake. Therefore an online business is one that never sleeps. It is one that is always on call by customers. As such, an online business must be manned at all times, keeping a close watch on potential business.

In managing an online business, communication is important. Using email and instant messaging as a form of communication between you and your staff will surely be beneficial. There are also different technologies such as the VoIP that enables you to talk with your business partners and your staff from all over the world quite easily. But since you and your associates live in different time zones it is important to set up a specific time of the day when you can communicate with them about the updates and different issues that your business face today and what they need to do about it. You should make sure that they follow your instruction and schedule strictly.

Meetings are also a must for online businesses. Meetings are where you'll know the issues hounding your employees and problems that the business is facing. To be able to save on time and effort, online businesses today can meet in an online conference room. This will eradicate the need for physical space and manual preparations.

Another way to survive online is to build up your brand! Yes, brand is important even though you're on the Internet. Building your brand means providing good products, fast services, and pleasant experiences to your customers. Yes, you'll definitely want your customers to have pleasant experiences. Remember, word spreads fast on the Internet. If you have one customer who had a not-so-good time in dealing with your online business and spreads the rumor, then chances are your name will be ruined.

Don't forget that your website is the face of your online business. Surviving in the online world means that your online business must be able to keep up with the latest technology. And in designing your storefront always keep navigation in mind. A potential customer would not want to visit twenty different web pages just to buy a certain product.

Surviving your online business is tough. Everyday, there are thousands of companies going online and millions of individuals setting up an online business. Ultimately, the key is to success in this endeavor is to love what you do. After all, not everyone gets to touch lives in a global scale.

How to run a Home Business and Work at the Office
Copyright © Jasmin Nwoke
http://www.InfoConnect79.net

Many people ask themselves if it is really possible to run a home business and still continue to work at their office job. The answer is yes. This may surprise some people. How do you have the time? That’s too much to do at one time. How can you manage?
All of these comments and questions are involved in juggling home business and an outside job, but the key is that it that you are capable. Here are three main things you want to keep in mind in order to have it all.

Drive! The want or desire to have a home business is what really matters. If you want to keep your current job as well as begin your own home business you truly have to be focused on being able to do so. Without a strong want that will drive you to do what is necessary you will lead yourself to failure. If you believe that you are ready to commit to both jobs, and do whatever is necessary to maintain both than you are taking your first step in the right direction.

Time! You aren’t just given a pocket full of time. Everything in this day and age is about rushing and stretching what time we have. This is still very true with juggling outside work and a home business. You have to be willing to make time. What this means is you must be willing to use whatever free time you have from your office job and apply it to your home business. Weekends, evenings as well as holidays can be spent working on your home business. As long as you are applying the time you have to your home business, you can work both. It all goes back to having the drive to do what is necessary to have what you want.

Patience! This is something we all need more of. You will need to build patience when running both your home business and outside work. You will indeed be frustrated at times, waiting for packages or updates on business progress. You will be frustrated with customer or clients from both jobs. By building patience and also some understanding you will help ease some of the stress that comes from working both jobs.

Drive, Time and Patience all go in hand when working home business and outside office work. You have to be efficient with your time and manage it wisely. Keep focused on your goal. Don’t lose track. Be patient, because success does not happen overnight and unfortunately not everyone you will encounter in your job is patient or understanding. As long as you make the effort, you can in fact run a home business and work in the office to.

THE HUGE POTENTIAL OF INTERNET MARKETING
Copyright © Jasmin Nwoke
http://www.InfoConnect79.net

The last couple of years has seen an explosive increase in the volume of internet marketing as more and more people now buy their goods online. During the dot com boom of the late 1990s, the major driving force was the idea of exchange of information using the internet. This was a new phenomenon at the time and it led to increased traffic and revenue from the internet.

But these days things are quite different. Unlike the gigantic bubble that was created during the 1990s, which was based on high demand and low supply, today's internet boom is much more balanced. People are purchasing more on the internet, seeking more information and sometimes earning their living from the internet. This has led to a much greater daily use of the internet especially in countries with well developed internet facilities. All this means that internet marketing is getting bigger daily and people are reaching ever larger audiences through the internet.

There are other reasons that have also increased the importance of internet marketing to the average internet enterpreneur. For one, the financial investment required to get results online are a fraction of what they would be in the real world and a person can literally enjoy free advertising if they want by using a number of different methods on the internet. Infact, the total and per capita advertising rates are cheaper online than offline, thus allowing more players into the game that they previously didn't stand a chance.

In conclusion, the future potential for internet marketing is also partly responsible for its constant growth. More players are now better positioned than they were during the first internet marketing boom of the 1990s. The future potential is very huge indeed as more people are using the internet daily and more companies are establishing online presence. As the demand and supply of internet marketing continues to grow, the overall economy of internet business becomes healthier, which in will in turn lead to more investment in the future.

EARNING RESIDUAL INCOME ON THE INTERNET)
Copyright © Jasmin Nwoke
http://www.InfoConnect79.net

There has never been a better time for the smart internet enterpreneur to make money online. Earning income online is sometimes like shooting fish in a barrel and anyone can take hold of one of the many business opportunities offered – whether they have a lot of business experience or next to none – and build a successful residual income business with little or no financial investment.

Owning a business with residual income is offers a huge advantage over one- time only businesses. While for -one time only businesses your profit ends with each sale, with residual income businesses you continue to profit from each sale long after the sale has been made. This is because each sale triggers a series of other profit generating activities with the result that the marketer continues to benefit from a sale long after it was made. Infact the earnings from such sales can continue to accrue even after the business is closed down. The result is that a single sale is worth much more than the initial value.

The most successful internet marketing enterpreneurs have discovered the power of residual income and will not market products that do not offer this benefit. If you desire to earn residual income you'll be happy to know that using the Internet to do this is surprisingly simple. For instance, if you already owned an online business, all you need to do is joining some of the available affiliate programs that market products with residual income. This is an excellent way to create a separate income stream that requires little or no work from you and boosts the business you are already running. Becoming an affiliate is usually free and all you have to do is place a merchant's link onto your website.

As visitors or customers click on your website link they are taken to the merchant and when they make a purchase, you get paid. As you become more successful, you will become qualified to be paid not just for sales made through your link but also for a program that will pay you for sending visitors to the merchant's website, whether they make a purchase or not.

If you are just starting your internet business, success requires a little patience. This is because getting traffic to your site takes some time and does not happen instantly, inspite of claims of instant success by some people. Infact anyone who promises to give you instant internet success has lied to you. True success comes only by spending time, energy and sometimes money to promote your site and optimise it for search engine listings.

It has been found that the best way to consistently make money online is to generate several residual income streams. Little streams eventually become overflowing rivers and a what looks like modest income source when combined with other revenue sources can prove to become a decent online income.

It is better to join reputable affiliate programs and build long term relationships with them rather to hop from merchant to merchant in the hope of quick gain. Residual income works best with consistency, and short term affiliation produces short term income which is very limiting.

When you first start earning money online, consider reinvesting part of it in your business and increasing your share of the daily visitors to the internet. You can do this by adding more products to your website and joining more affiliate programs. Remember, with the huge potential of the internet there's almost no limit to strength of your web presence and the revenue you can accrue from online residual income.

SHORTEN YOUR INTERNET BUSINESS LEARNING CURVE
Copyright © Jasmin Nwoke
http://www.InfoConnect79.net

If you are considering starting an internet business, I have some bad news for you: 95% of new internet businesses fail. This statistic, although depressing is factual. It means that for every 10 people who start a business online, 9 are going to fail. My reason for revealing this frightening statistic is not to scare you but to make you assess your odds of being in the 95% bracket.

First of all, I want you to know that there are various reasons for this high failure rate. But if I were to summarise them under a single phrase, I'd say the reason for this high rate of failure is impatience with the learning curve.

The truth is,all enterpreneurship takes time to succeed and internet based enterpreneurship is no different. The learning curve is simply the time lapse between the onset of the business and mastery of the business, during which a lot is learned.Typically, most of today's successful internet gurus spent at least 5 years building their business inorder to achieve the levels of success they currently enjoy.

But a lot of newcomers to internet business are given the wrong impression. With all the hype about instant wealth and instant success online, many people are misled to think that all they require to succeed with internet business is a website and some advertising. They get this wrong impression from some "guru" who tells them how he made instant wealth online.

After listening to such gurus, what usually follows then is: the newbie gets excited with the internet business idea, starts the business, advertises, then.......nothing happens. After a couple of months spending money on advertising with dismal results, he becomes disillusioned and loses interest in promoting the business, which eventually leads to the death of the business. Thus the high rate of failure among newinternetenterpreneurs.

For the newbie ebiz enterpreneur, inorder to achieve the desired level of success online you'll need investments in time, money and determination. If you are starting from scratch, or pioneering a new niche, be prepared to spend even more money and time if you will succeed. But this is where the trouble lies. Most newbie internet businessmen have limited financial resources and lack the patience required to breakthrough the learning curve, and will give up after a couple of months.

If you have limited resources and want to own a successful internet business in the shortest possible time, the best way to do this is to join an already successful, duplicable online business.

There are a number of very successful internet business that are duplicable and all the enterpreneur need do is to "Plug in" to any one of them and apply the proven marketing techniques. The enterpreneur is sure of rapid success with this kind of business because he is duplicating an already successful model . Infact, this is the easiest way to succeed online.
There are now many programs available online that provide duplicable internet business to prospective enterpreneurs.

These programs belong to the "plug-in" type of business in which everything is set up for you including your website, products to sell and step by step instructions on effective marketing techniques that have proven successful with the very same business you are about to start.

When you join such programs, you gain several advantages. Firstly, this is the fastest and easiest way to make money on the internet. This is because you are applying proven techniques to market products that already have a market.
So all you'd be doing is getting a share of the market.

Secondly, your return on investment is very high because you only invest in the known and not the unknown. Thirdly, your learning curve is drastically reduced and you quickly master internet marketing techniques that will be beneficial to you long after you've left such programs.

Finally, you are saved the additional stress of adminstration of your business or other issues because they are usually handled by organisers of the program, leaving you time to concentrate on what is most important - fastracking your success in the internet business.

Do you have what it takes to be an e-entrepreneur?
Copyright © Stone Evans, The Home Biz Guy
Author of "Dotcomology - The Science of Making Money Online"

These days, it seems like everyone wants to work
from home and make money on the Internet. But
before you even turn on your computer, the first
question you have to ask yourself is whether
you’re cut out for this kind of work.

The fact is, building a home-based business isn’t
for everyone. Some people like the commute. They
really do enjoy having a boss who tells them what
to do, and they like the routine of working
nine-to-five for an ordinary salary that can
barely pay the mortgage. Personally, I think
they’re nuts.

More reasonably, there are people who are
concerned about the risk of starting up their own
business. They’re not sure it’s worth the
investment of time and money, and they’re scared
of the responsibility that comes with running
their own company. They wonder if there is
another way to escape the rat race.

I’m sure there is. You could win the lottery or
wait for your Aunt Sue to keel over and leave you
her condo. Or maybe you could sit down with a pen
and paper and draw the blueprint for "The Next
Big Thing". Anything can happen... Right?

For me, what happened was creating a successful,
self-running Internet marketing system. It didn’t
happen without effort. It didn’t happen without
at least some initial investment of both time and
money and, of course, it doesn’t happen now
without me making sure that the taxes are filed
and the paperwork is done. But it happened.

I’m my own boss. I work from home according to my
own schedule and I get to pocket all the cash my
business makes. If you’re prepared to give an
e-business the time, the work and the money it
needs to get started and get growing, it can
happen for you too.
